  • The Challenges

    The Pelican Challenge - Run the half marathons on both Saturday and Sunday. Save money by signing up for both.
    The Trail Challenge - Run the half marathon on Saturday and the full marathon on Sunday. Again, save money by signing up for both.

    The Triple Challenge is back!
    Texas Marathon Triple: For those who complete all three marathon distances at: The Texas Marathon on 1/1/10, The Surfside Marathon on 2/13/10, and Seabrook Lucky Trail Marathon 3/21/10, we will mail a hat and shirt. The shirt will list the finishers alphabetically and there is no cost to the participants. Register for Surfside and Seabrook soon, before they fill up.


    Race Limit:

    This event will be limited to maximum 500 participants for each day,
    and 50 relay teams on Sunday. (Note: After February 29, there can be
    no changes to which race you are registered for.)

    Course Availability:

    The course will be open for 7-1/2 hours for all Sunday races, and for 4 hours for the Saturday half marathon. Runners and walkers who have not finished by the time of course closure will be responsible for their own safety. Only official and local vehicles are allowed on the race course. No bicycles or baby joggers are allowed on the course.

    Walkers:

    For the Sunday race, we will have an early start at 5:30 a.m. The water stations will likely be unavailable during the first loop of the early start. To qualify for an early start, your time for completing the marathon should exceed 5-1/2 hours. No early start finisher will have a finish time less than 5-1/2 hours. No early start for the half marathon.

    Relay:

  • YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE YOUR CONFIRMATION LETTER TO PICK UP YOUR PACKET. YES YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR FRIENDS' PACKETS AS WELL.

    Awards

    Awards will be handed out the day of the race only. No awards will be mailed, unless arrangements are made with the race director prior to the race. We would love for everyone to stay and enjoy the music and food.

    Race Day Parking

    Parking is free. Volunteers will be directing traffic the morning of race day. Please follow their directions and instructions.
